Yoga Postures for a Stronger Spine

The spine is one of the most important parts of your body. Without it, you could not keep yourself upright or even stand up. Today in ‘Yoga and You’ Keerthana from Rutland gate studio shows us few asanas which helps to strengthen the spine.

Spine contains three main curves, which are needed for flexibility and stability. However, viewing your spine from the back, it should be straight and not deviate from side-to-side very much at all. People tend to forget the spine is part of the central nervous system, along with the brain, and relies on the peripheral nervous system: the millions of nerves that send messages to the brain that control the body’s functions.
